Force Users To Read Topics And Announcements

This plugin will set a topic or/and announcement as a must read for your users. They will not be able to browse the forum until they have read the must read topic or/and announcement set by the admin. 

Installation:

To install this plugin, log in to your Admin Panel, go to System->Plugins, click the Install New Plugin button and import the plugin 's xml file.

Configuration:

To configure it, click the Edit button of the newly installed plugin and you will be taken to the plugin 's Settings.

Settings:

Enable Force Topic Reading. (This will enable/disable the force thread settings.)

Topic Id. (This field holds the id of the topic that you want your users to read before they browse the forum.)

Error Message. (This field holds the error message that your users will see. It supports html. You can enter the url to the must read topic and display a customised error message.)

Enable Force Announcement Reading. (This will enable/disable the force announcement settings.)

Announcement Id. (This field holds the id of the announcement that you want your users to read before they browse the forum.)

Error Message. (This field holds the error message that your users will see. It supports html. You can enter the url to the must read announcement and display a customised error message.)

Excluded Groups. (You can exclude a group or groups from the must read topic/announcement restriction.)
