Fake Topic View Counts

This plugin will give the staff the ability to manipulate the number of views that topics have received. It adds a new setting on each topic where a view count can be entered. That value will be added on top of the real number of the view count. This can be useful if you want a certain topic or topics to appear popular/important.

Installation:

To install this plugin, log in to your Admin Panel, go to System->Plugins, click the Install New Plugin button and import the plugin 's xml file.

Configuration:

To configure it, go to the topic where you want to add the fake view count, click the Moderation Action link and then the Fake Views link. There you can add the extra number of views. Only users with the appropriate permissions will be able to use this option.

Settings:

There you can select the groups that can control thread views.

Moderator Log:

Anytime that a topic view count will be increased it will be logged in the Moderation History section in topics, or at the Moderator Log in the Admin Panel.
