Enhanced Commerce Views

Like Enhanced Forum Views, this a set of layout tweaks I created for my own sites, now turned into a plugin for everyone to use. It gives your Invision Community store layout options not available in the stock Commerce software. Let your store stand out! Remove the sidebar if you don’t need it and pick the right amount of grid items and the perfect aspect ratio for your category images. All through settings. No HTML knowledge and theme customization required. Complete list of features below.

What’s needed: 

• the most recent version of IPS 4.4 with the Commerce application  

Features: 

• Listing pages:
  • Pick number of category columns (1, 2, 3, 4, 6)
  • Activate hover highlight effect for category images (see live demo)
  • Pick aspect ratio of category images
  • Show/hide sidebar on index page
  • Show/hide sidebar on category pages
  • Show/hide product sort bar
• Product page:
  • Pick one of four column widths for the image column
  • Show/hide truncated product description at the top
  • Add category link so customers can go back from the product to the parent category
  • Hide thumbnails if there is just one image (no setting)
  • Simple image mode: only show one image without magnification options
