Спасибо за такой ответ! А можно узнать как им пользоваться? Я запускаю www.мой_сайт.ru/convert/index.php , а там пишут, что не найден файл глобал_сонф.пхп

Invision Power Board 2.1.x Conversion System - Instructions

 

Using the convertor

 

This document is designed to help you through the easy installation and useage of our IPB 2.1.x conversion system.

If you require any further help, please contact conversions@invisionpower.com.

Although this convertor has been tested thoroughly, it's always wise to back up your source files and database before commencing with the conversion.

 

Uploading the convertor files

 

This document assumes that you already have an Invision Power Board installed and working. You do not need to use the same MySQL database for Invision Power Board that your existing board uses - although you may if you wish.

Using your FTP client, navigate into the root Invision Power Board directory on your server. This is the directory that holds the IPB admin.php, conf_global.php and index.php files amongst others.

 

From the convertor folder freshly unzipped onto your hard drive, move into the folder called 'upload'.

Upload the entire directory 'convert' into the root IPB directory on your server. Please ensure that your FTP Application retains the database structure whilst uploading.

 

Once you've uploaded the 'convert' directory you should see the following file structure inside of your IPB directory:

 

/convert/index.php

/convert/api/*

/convert/converters/*

/convert/images/*

 

Configuration of the conversion system

 

Access the convertor by typing in the URL to 'convert/index.php' in your web browser (eg: www.yourdomain.com/forums/convert/index.php)

When it loads, the first step is to choose the forum system that you're converting from. Change the drop down menu to specify which system you're converting from. Please be sure to pick the correct version if there's more than one version listed. Once the correct system has been selected click on the 'Save Configuration' button.

 

The next step is to specify the MySQL Database connection information for your existing forum system. If you're unsure of what it is, you can check your existing boards configuration file to retrieve it, or ask for assistance from your hosting provider in obtaining this information.

 

Also, depending on the software that you're converting from, you may need to enter in the server path to the main directory of your previous boards installation. This should be the full server path, eg '/home/yourdomain.com/public_html/oldforums/'.

 

Then you'll also need to input the amount of database rows converted per meta-refresh page. The amounts largely depend on your database size and server power. You can re-configure the convertor at any time, so if you find that the script times out or lags badly during a conversion, you may go back and decrease these values.

 

Finally, depending on the software that you're converting from, you'll need to enter in the path to your IPB 'uploads' directory. This is to allow you to convert over any attachments/uploaded avatars etc. from your previous board. This should be the full server path, eg '/home/yourdomain.com/public_html/forums/uploads'

 

Running the conversion system

 

Please note: The conversion system will erase any data currently in your IPB database when it's run. The convertor is designed to be non-linear. This means that you can convert as many, or as few sections as you wish, you can also go back and re-convert at a later time if desired. Please note however, that each time you start converting a section, that sections tables will be emptied (eg, if converting forums, the DB table ibf_forums will be emptied).

 

To convert a section, simply click on the 'Convert' link

 

Please note that due to the different ways in which other forum systems deal with user groups permission settings, it will not be possible to convert this information. Depending on the forum software that you're converting from the system may have to move all members back into the main IPB members group during the conversion. All administrators will be placed into the main IPB Root Admin group in this case. You can adjust the settings of these groups and forums permissions once you've got your data converted. Your board is switched offline during the conversion process to protect any private forums that you may have. You can turn your board back online by following the link to do so on the Admin CP welcome page.

 

Once all sections have been converted

 

You must remove the entire /convert folder and all files inside of it from your forums installation to protect the security of your board. Leaving the system in place will allow anyone to come along and re-run the convertor at any time, potentially erasing any data in your IPB database.

 

Post conversion

 

After you've converted your information, we recommend that you re-build a number of statistics on your board to ensure that they're all accurate. You can do this from the TOOLS & SETTINGS -> Maintenance -> Recount & Rebuild page in the Admin CP.

 

We recommend that you run the following tools from there:

 

Recount Statistics

Resynchronize Topics

Resynchronize Forums

Rebuild User Names

Rebuild Post Content (please note: if you have a large number of posts this tool may take a long time to run)
